Module 11; Non representational art
Non-representational art is one of the many arrangements of art and can also be known with the the term of "abstract". It uses a visual representation of shape, form, color and lines to create a composition which may exist in a degree of independence from references in the world. Non-representational art is also the complete opposite to the realm of representative. In fact, a dictionary meaning of the term abstract is "not resembling or portraying any object in physical nature". It is guided with the concept that art is the strongest way for people to reflect upon one's feelings, views and perception, all in a unique way. The sources from which individual artists drew their theoretical arguments were diverse and it reflected upon the fundamental changes taking place in technology, science and philosophy of the time.
